the truth
Was talking to an old American last night and we were discussing the current political situation here in Philippines. He's actually here doing business. He believes that the wire tapped conversations of the president were actually from the the US government.
Why would the US govenment do that? Because President Gloria pulled our troops from Afghanistan in exchange of the pinoy captive's freedom. The US government did not like that decision from GMA that's why the tape surfaced, it is some sort of revenge. I'm so sorry, but I think their government is shitty. He even said that the US government gave the heavy pressure on the Japanese government not to give the 80,000 Filipina entertainers work permit renewal and to change their policy on admitting Filipino entertainers because it's some sort of human trafficking. The US gov't also changed their policies in hiring Pinoy nurses, instead of waiting 6 months for processing it's now 3 years. All that just because GMA did not keep the troops in Afghanistan until the end of their originally planned duration. Isn't that just plain stupid and childish? We are not talking about games here. What is at stake is the future of our country, our people, our lives.
According to him, a lady canadian government employee was fired because she said George W. Bush is a moron. He is.

The US government should stop pretending like they are the world's police because they are not. Don't wonder why terrorists attack your country, you know the reason.
